About Michael
Michael is a Portland-based attorney with over five years of experience helping individuals in his community navigate some of the most challenging legal circumstances they will ever face — from workplace discrimination to disability benefits to on-the-job injuries. His practice is grounded in the belief that skilled, compassionate legal representation shouldn’t be out of reach for anyone who needs it.
Background
His work spans three core areas. In employee rights, Michael represents workers in class-action discrimination matters before the EEOC and in federal court, securing meaningful monetary relief for those who have experienced harassment and discrimination. In disability and Social Security law, he has guided hundreds of clients through the application and administrative hearing process, including cross-examining expert witnesses — and does so in both English and Spanish. In workers’ compensation, he advocates for injured workers before the board, working to ensure they receive every benefit they’re entitled to.
Michael earned his J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, where he was active on the Mock Trial Honor Board and received an Oral Advocacy Award. He also coached the Mock Trial team at the University of Portland. He holds his B.A. from the University of Portland and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since September 2018.
